Date Caramel
Plant-based Caramel you can enjoy guilt-free, even with braces! Dairy-free, vegan, and refined sugar-free.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup dates, pitted
½ cup coconut cream, chilled
½ tsp vanilla
Salt
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Soak pitted dates in hot water for 5 minutes to soften them, then strain.
2. In a food processor, blend soaked dates, coconut cream, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
3. Serve with slices of fruit, ice cream - like my Caramel Swirl Yogurt Pops, or enjoy it straight from the spoon.
